personal goals for 2013

I hope you all are going to have a wonderful new years, What are YOUR plans?

 Personal:
Loose 10 pounds, this will come to me strictly by dieting. I KNOW HOW to loose weight and have done it several times, its just not fun. Lets face it, it sucks.. but the end results are AMAZING. Nothing like dropping a few pounds and being able to wear super cute clothing that other wise may not be so 'super cute'. I am no means a big/large girl but would appreciate to be skinnER. If that makes since.

Take a first ever family vacation cruise, this has never happened to my family. We have never been financially fit to be so blessed, this year will be a first that we are at a point to be able to make that decision. We are looking into Caribbean cruise and hoping to book it in January!

Completely pay off my car, I JUST got one a month ago and its my goal to have it paid off and paid for after mothers day. Twice a year I am super busy and am lucky enough to have the funds to invest into to areas of our lives. This one is a must, no car payment would be amazing.

Completely pay off my school loan, this again will come for Christmas of 2013.

Visit my my mom and dad, this hasnt happened in years. My mother comes to see us yearly and I would like to go see them this year they are moving closer to us and not 1,0000 miles apart {cant wait}

Be willing to accept things that life has in store for me and just roll with the punches.

Business:
To reach 5,000 sales in my Etsy shop, Yourcharmedlife. I am over the 4,000 mark now and know it will happen

To hire a total of 3 people for the holidays, I have one wonderful helper now Sandi and its literally a eye opener to needing the extra hands! I'm on 16 pages of orders guys and stressed out beyond belief. I NEED THIS.

To invest into NEW and FINER products, I'm always on the hunt for things you typically don't see else wear and that's what I swear by, setting yourself aside. Soon as things slow down, its time to brain storm.

ART SHOWS, I have never done one. Its time, nuff said.

BLOG:
One goal just happened and that was to find a blog design that suited me, found it and DONE. LOVE it, next....

Host a weekly party, I admire those of you that do this without fail and on time. Seriously this blog thing, can do so much and a awesome way to meet so many new people and gain a larger audience.

TRIPLE the giveaways, yep that's right. TONS more to come.

Get in touch with the WORD part of blogging, I LOVE photography and that's what my blog displays is my love for photos. Turns out I also have a love for words, time to start sharing my thoughts with you all and try and be more "real" with myself and you all. Maybe in the process I can re-define who I "was" before "mommy"...

Gain some Sponsors

..........

What about you? What are your big goals/plans for 2013?
I keep hearing that if you over plan you'll have a harder time succeeding. Guess I'm in for a world of hurt huh? Pessimistic or optimistic? Ill take the later.

  1. Good luck with all your resolutions: as a 72+ surfer and "dangerous" blogging type, agree about the blog parties (let me know, and I'll happily join up!, tend to me more of a wordsmith than a photographer, but intended to more of the latter this year. Meanwhile, congrats on the sales figure you've reached: I've yet to reach 50!

Oh, and if you don't try, you don't make mistakes: and making mistakes, as long as you don't repeat them, is how you learn!

  3. So many great goals! I wish you the best of luck, but I know that you will achieve most of your list. ;) OMG and did you say you're TRIPLING your giveaways??? Awesome!!!
One of my goals is to exercize 4 times a week (yep, not lose weight...I figured if I said that, it might not happen, so I'm going with the exercise and get fit goal - let's see if it works!). Another is to better manage my time so that computer time doesn't cut into family time. =0)
    Happy New Year, Kelly!

  4. Wow you have so many goals! You are very ambitious. I only set one resolution and that is to create one finished piece of art every week. To make sure I keep up with my goal I'm posting the art on my blog every Sunday.

I hope you make every goal you have set!
