I had heard of this tradition on a mommies board and decided to give it a go. Caleb loves the idea and thinks its so funny to see him move around, he named our elf Albie. The consept is to move this little elf around in a new spot every day and he 'watches' your behavior and then reports it to santa while the child sleeps. The child cant touch the elf, if he does the elfl ooses its magic, the elf cant talk because its a 'rule' santa gave the elf. However the elf likes to listen to the child talk. Different but totally fun, Caleb squeals with delight every morning in search of him, its funny to watch his reactions.

Hahaha, that's awesome! I've been hearing here and there of this "Elf on the Shelf", but I wasn't sure exactly what it was all about. Sounds so adorable, though! My sister is 11, and is not sure if she believes in Santa anymore (last year she wrote her letter "just in case", lol!), but this is such a cute idea!
